Lessons and Costs

What happens in an Alexander Technique lesson?

In a one-to-one lesson I’ll guide you with the gentle direction of my hands and verbal instructions as you do some everyday activities, such as sitting, standing, walking or lying down.  You’ll be fully clothed during the lesson but with your shoes off.  Each lesson lasts 40 to 45 minutes.

You’ll benefit most if you have a series of lessons, preferably close together, especially at the beginning.  ‘Unlearning’ your usual ways of moving takes time. I’ve written a blog post on how many lessons you may need.

If you’d like to find out what it’s all about, you can book an introductory lesson and then decide if you’d like to have more.

A single or introductory lesson costs £50

If you pre-pay for 5 lessons it costs £48 per lesson (£240)

If you pre-pay for 10 lessons you get the 11th lesson free (£500 for 11 lessons)

*Cancellation charge - lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged at the full rate

Private Health Cash Plans

I am registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). Some private health cash plans cover the costs of Alexander Technique lessons with teachers on their register.

I’m available Monday to Friday 10am to 7pm and on Saturday mornings from 10am to 12.30pm.  I teach from a central London location close to many transport links.

There are stairs up to the front door and up to my teaching room.  Please let me know in advance if you have any access requirements and I’ll accommodate you if I can.
