Lessons and Costs

What happens in an Alexander Technique lesson?

In a one-to-one lesson I will guide you with words and the gentle direction of my hands as you do some everyday activities, such as sitting, standing, walking or lying down.  You’ll be fully clothed during the lesson, though you’ll need to take your shoes off.

You’ll benefit most if you have a series of lessons, preferably close together, especially at the beginning.  ‘Unlearning’ your usual ways of moving takes time.  You can book for an introductory lesson to find out what it’s all about. Each lesson lasts 40 to 45 minutes.

A single or introductory lesson costs £50

If you pre-pay for 5 lessons it costs £48 per lesson (£240)

If you pre-pay for 10 lessons you get the 11th lesson free (£500 for 11 lessons)

*Cancellation charge - lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged at the full rate

Private Health Cash Plans

I am registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). Some private health cash plans cover the costs of Alexander Technique lessons with teachers on their register.

I’m available Monday to Friday 10am to 7pm and on Saturday mornings from 10am to 12.30pm.  I teach from a central London location close to many transport links.

There are stairs up to the front door and up to my teaching room.  Please let me know in advance if you have any access requirements and I’ll accommodate you if I can.
