This workshop is an introduction to the Alexander Technique. The Alexander Technique is a way of learning to reduce muscle tension. It makes movement easier and lighter and can help with pain relief, postural issues, balance and breathing or voice problems.
You'll be in a small, friendly group where you'll learn how the Alexander Technique can help you. There will be simple explanations and demonstrations, as well as some hands-on work in a guided lying-down session. We'll have plenty of time for questions and you can find out how to take it further if you're interested.
If you come to this workshop you're entitled to a half-price one-to-one Alexander Technique lesson at a later date, so bring your diary on the day.
